COLLECTION
DESCRIPTION OF THE ARTWORK
It is a beautiful facade with arched window that offers this building on the General Allard street located in Saint-Tropez, well known by fans of Brigitte Bardot. During my visit in the region in 2007, the ground floor of this building housed an Italian restaurant called Luna Rossa.
WHERE THE INSPIRATION COMES
It was while looking at my photos of my 2007 Europe trip, that I saw this beautiful facade and I said to myself: "A small Italian car would go well in front of this small Italian restaurant!"
As far as the car is concerned, two choices were available to me: the Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider circa 1965 or the Alfa Romeo 105 Spider circa 1966.
ABOUT THE CAR
The beautiful Italian cabriolet was chosen is the Alfa Romeo 105 Spider circa 1966. I like the fall curve of the trunk. A pretty girl dressed in mid 60's period adds life to the image.
